We are proud to offer for sale yet another British classic, the Velocette Venom Clubman. Our 500cc example is the sporting/racing version of Velocette’s 499 cc OHV single-cylinder touring motorcycle produced from 1955 through to the late sixties. Our bike was registered in April 1960 and has had 4 owners from new with the most recent having owned the bike since 1991. It is in stunning condition having been maintained and restored over the years. Supplied with the original log book as well as numerous invoices, old MOT's and V5's showing the bikes history. This bike would grace any British bike collection and would turn heads at local bike gatherings.

Velocette (Veloce Ltd., Hall Green, Birmingham) introduced the Venom in late 1955 as a higher-performance development of the MSS touring single. It had a claimed top speed nearing 100 mph and roughly 5,721 Venoms were built from 1955 to 1970 with the Clubman version from 1959 to 1960) From 1960 Velocette offered a dedicated Clubman racing-oriented variant of the Venom.

Plenty of space. No hassle from sales staff just asked if we'd like a drink and were happy for us to wander round with our dog.

Wow. I felt a bit intimidated visiting The Bike Specialist when I saw some of the amazing high end and classic bikes in there. However, they had a bike that I wanted, called in and couldn’t have been happier with the welcome, service and bike knowledge on offer. Chris was great to deal with, gave me a very sensible trade in price on my old bike and made the whole process very easy and stress free. I’m currently enjoying my new bike, while also working out ways to buy another one from them and where I can hide it in my garage 🤔😁. It’s worth a visit just to ascend the ramp to the first floor and all of the lights automatically illuminate. It may make the experience better if you could activate a speaker with angels singing as the lights turn on 🤣 Top quality experience and I’d highly recommend them.

They are The Bike Specialists I thought I was in a dream when first got to know about this team about 10years ago, even went to visit them at the Old Barracks in Sheffield which is like a sanctuary that takes you back in time to the present & the future. Thanks James Dave Chris & all those in the workshop & behind the scenes. And of course the Panagale that I am proud to own. Gary (Surrey)

Just a quick word to say thank you for sorting out the warranty work and parts for the R1250RT. I very much appreciate it. The garage was also impressed at the professionalism and prompt payment that was made.

I love this place, unfortunately I don't have the budget for most of the beautiful machines on display. However if I did I would definitely consider them. Attention to detail and passion for the machines on display is second to none. What I will say is if you go on a bike or in a nice sounding car go in to park you can actually drive/ride into the showrooms turn into the front entrance and immediately turn left up the ramp it's such a fun thing to do open your windows and take in the noise 😂👏👏 The Bikes on display are another level some exotica you normally only find in museums MV, Ducati 851,888,Sp1, Triumphs, Benelli, Egli, Vincent, Norton,Honda RC30,45, NR750, Yamaha OW01, the list is endless like the lines of Ducatis and MVs.
