James Holland

With a love of motorbikes from a very early age and being born into the motor trade, James had always envisioned himself opening a specialist motorbike dealership, and so, in 2006, fuelled with ambition, driven by passion, James founded The Bike Specialists with a desire to give his customers a truly special motorcycle buying experience.

As a collector and enthusiast, James is an expert on all things two-wheels, always giving his customers complete peace of mind, at every step of the way.

With such passion comes strong attention to detail, a must when dealing with classic, investment and race bikes. James understands exactly what his customers are looking for and will always advise based on the clients needs, his knowledge and experience gained over the years, building rapport with his customers through honesty and trust.

Taking great pride in each and every motorcycle in stock, James and his team strive for perfection and have built up a reputation for doing so. With repeat customer’s including legendary motorcycle racers, A-list celebrities and other fellow enthusiasts, James takes great pride in the service he and his team offer.

The continued success of The Bike Specialists has been the result of all of this, plenty of hard work, lots of enthusiasm and a real passion for motorbikes.

Dave Higgins

Sales Manager

Ducati / Suzuki / Yamaha main dealer experience

Dave has spent his whole working life in the motor trade, from workshop through sales and management roles including working within a Ducati/Suzuki/Yamaha main dealer environment. His lifelong passion for motorcycles is demonstrated throughout everything entailed in his role. This passion combined with his background in sales and excellent organisational skills help keep the showroom looking phenomenal and ensure everything runs smoothly, just as we like it.

Chris Maguire

General Manager

10 years with BMW Motorrad; cars and motorcycles

Chris has joined our team with a wealth of experience in the motor industry in both cars and motorcycles. He’s crazy about anything 2 or 4 wheeled as long as it has an engine. He’s worked for BMW Motorrad for 10 years so has extensive experience within the German brand & he can’t wait to learn all about high end investment motorcycles.

Chris says ..My main focus are attention to Detail by providing exceptional customer service and retaining customer loyalty. I’m looking forward to the challenge what The premium brand of the Bike and Car specialists has to offer and helping to grow the business further by adding my experience to an already fantastic team.

Mark Pemberton

Operations Manager

Mark has been a driving force at The Car & Bike Specialists since day one and plays a pivotal role in the company’s ongoing success. With a strong work ethic and sharp business mindset, he oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently and to the highest standard. Thorough and hands-on in his approach, Mark works closely with every member of the team and is always pleased to welcome and engage with our customers.

Simon Hayes

Business Manager

Simon is one of our longest-serving team members, having progressed through the business from vehicle preparation to Business Manager. His journey gives him a deep understanding of the trade from the ground up, making him an invaluable part of the team. With a strong head for finance and a thorough approach, Simon works closely with customers to secure finance packages tailored to their individual needs, ensuring a smooth and straightforward process from start to finish.

Dave Aspinall

Motorbike Technician

Dave brings over twenty five years mechanical and technical experience to the team, a master BMW and Yamaha technician who has a very keen eye for detail and perfection.

Preparation and re- commissioning is completed here in our purpose built retro workshop facility in order for us to retain the highest standard in the industry.

A very keen and very under rated trials rider and a true motorcycle enthusiast.

Alex Robinson

Vehicle Preparation

Alex plays a key role in our preparation and delivery team, ensuring every motorcycle is finished to the highest standard before reaching its new owner. With a strong attention to detail and a thorough, methodical approach, he takes real pride in making sure each bike is perfectly presented and ready for handover.
