We are delighted to offer for sale our latest Ducati 916 special edition for sale. The Ducati 916 Senna Mk 1! Our example is unique by virtue of the fact that it is a 1995 UK example that has had just two owners from new. The latest owner has had the bike in his collection since 2006 and we are lucky to now to add the bike to our inventory. The bike has covered 9,309 miles and has sat in a collection since it was last serviced in 2006 at the bikes current mileage. Prior to sale the bike will undergo a full recommissioning service including belts and all fluids. Included in the package is the bikes book pack with handbook and service book, spare key, tool kit and a host of old receipts.

The 1995 Ducati 916 Senna Mk 1 is more than just a performance motorcycle, it’s a collector’s piece and emotional tribute linking two legends of motorsport: Ayrton Senna and Ducati’s flagship sportsbike of the 1990s. The Mark 1 was produced in 1995 to honour Ayrton Senna, the legendary three-time Formula One World Champion and passionate Ducati enthusiast. Senna had agreed to a special collaboration with Ducati before his tragic death in 1994, and this edition was launched posthumously as a tribute.

It is combination of rarity, distinctive design touches, and strong connection to Senna’s legacy that make it a stand out in Ducati’s history. Only 300 units were produced in the first series (Senna 1), followed by later editions in 1997 (MK2) and 1998 (Mk3) with slightly different colours. The Mk 1 featured a distinctive anthracite grey and matt black paint scheme with striking red wheels (colours chosen by Senna himself during collaboration with Ducati’s design team) Special “Senna” logos and graphics, Carbon-fibre front fender, chain guard, clutch cover, and exhaust heat shield — giving both weight savings and a premium look.

All in all a spectacular bike that would sit very nicely in any serious Ducati collection but also a bike to be enjoyed out on the open road.
