Here we offer for sale our Ducati 900 MKII Superlight. Its been a long time since we have seen one of these in our showroom and good examples are becoming harder to find. Our bike is a 1993 Mk II example that has the number 083 on the unique plaque on the headstock. The bike is supplied with a spare key and hand book and will receive a full recommissioning service (inc. belts) and fresh MOT prior to sale.

The 1993 Ducati 900 Superlight (also called 900SL or Superlight Mk II) is a limited-edition, higher-spec variant of the Ducati 900 Supersport (900SS). It was part of a short run of “Superlight” models produced from 1992 to 1996, created to capitalise on the success of the 900SS and the earlier limited Sport Production (SP) bikes. Ducati launched the Superlight in 1992 as a more exclusive, slightly lighter take on the air/oil-cooled two-valve 900SS. The standard 900SS was already a popular, relatively accessible exotic sport bike with classic Ducati character. The Superlight added lightweight parts, a solo seat, distinctive styling cues, and a numbered plaque on the triple clamp to justify a premium and create collector appeal. Production was limited, only around 755 (93) units were produced.
