It has been a long while since one of these graced our showroom and was offered for sale... the very rare Yamaha TZR250 "RS" 3XV. This 1992 model year was brought into the UK in 2014 and has been tastefully restored and is supplied with 2 keys and shows just 14,161 kilometres (8,799 miles) which is believed to be the bikes genuine mileage. Prior to sale the bike will receive a service and fresh MOT.

The 1992 Yamaha TZR250RS was one of the last evolutions of Yamaha’s legendary TZR 250 two-strokeV-twin series, a direct descendant of the GP-inspired bikes that battled the Honda NSR250 and Suzuki RGV250 on both the road and the track. It is believed that just 1000 were produced.

The RS (Racing Sport) specification featured a close-ratio gearbox, dry clutch (lighter, racier feel, more direct but noisier) cast wheels with the bike giving riders many of the SP’s race-oriented features but at a lower price point when new.
